The panel raiser puts a classic ogee edge on the central panel of your door. Use the reversible glue joint bit for gluing up multiple boards to extend panel width. The glue joint bit will rout both joining cuts. Simply set the center of the bit with the center of your stock. Then, run 1 cut face up and the adjoining cut face down creating a perfect joint. Fully enclosed ball bearing guides allow for precise cuts without the use of a fence. 2-flute carbide cutters and 1/2 in. shanks. Set comes in a solid wood storage case. Rail and stile door construction has been around for centuries and is the most common way to build doors for cabinets and furniture.
