The special hollowed out center is designed for use with specialty tamper-resistant fasteners. These bits, machined from high-strength S2 steel with a polished chrome vanadium steel socket, allow you to tackle a wide range of projects. Star shaped fasteners are common in many automotive applications, and these sockets exceed ASME performance standards. Contains the following sizes: 1/4 in. drive – TT15, TT20, TT25, TT27, TT30; 3/8 in. drive – TT40, TT45, TT50.
