Timber Wolf band saw blades run cooler, last longer and track true. Our 1/8 in. x 14 tpi x 0.025 blades are made of high silicon, low carbon steel. The teeth are induction hardened, milled for true tracking, produce a thin kerf and make remarkably tight turns. These blades must be run under a little lower tension which is better for your band saw. Our welds are warranted. The 1/8 in. blades are used for cutting up to 2 in. hardwoods, 1-1/4 in. softwoods, 1/4-1 in. plywood, MDF and other composites, ¼ in. non-ferrous metals and plastics. They make a 7/32 in. radius.
- Milling the teeth of our blades into a piece of strip steel produces a finished, razor sharp edge without ever having to stamp or grind the teeth, induction hardening allows for different but more precise hardness throughout the blade, these unique manufacturing techniques along with the use of Swedish Silicon steel and the highest quality alloys set these blades apart from all other wood and metal cutting blades
- World’s only thin kerf, low tensioned, silicon steel band saw blades
- 50% sharper tooth
- Milled teeth not stamped or ground
- Induction hardened versus flame hardened maintains a sharp edge and provides longer life
- Run under low tension requiring less horse power and strain on your band saw
- Because of our deep gullets, we are able to use lower hook angles which generate less heat on the tip of the tooth
